Community Builder Profile Pro version 1.xHow to install and use CB Profile Pro
The installation and using of Community Builder Profile Pro is quite easy. You have to follow quick steps below:
1.Unzip the downloaded package. Install all extensions in the package as usually. Then enable all installed plugins in Extensions >> Plugin Manager.NOTE: cbplugin_profilepro.zip should be installed and enabled in Components >> Community Builder >> Plugin Management.
2.Go to Components >> Community Builder >> Tab Management, find the Profile Pro tab and publish it in the desired position. We suggest you publish it on main area position.
Now you can start creating your custom profile page:
3.Go to Content >> Article Manager and create a new article (no matter categorized or not). After you once save it, go to Components >> Community Builder >> Plugin Management and in CB Profile Pro plugin parameters specify id or title (not AND, but OR) of this article in the appropriate field.
Now this article is used as a profile page.
4.Creating of a profile page consists of inserting the community builder fields into the created content item. To insert a community builder field click on the button CB Field Insert
You'll see a modal window with a list of all your community builder fields
Select the field, specify parameters for it and click insert. All below parameters are optional:
- Class - type the CSS class from your template stylesheet to apply to the selected field.
- Show Field Title - choose whether to show the title of the field before it.
- Field Title Class - class, applied the field title.
- Delimeter - delimeter between Field Title and Field.
NOTE: You can apply formating to the fields and field titles in usual way in your WYSIWYG editor.
You have absolute freedom to create your custom profile page. Create unique design, non-standard information layout, extraordinary fields look using your WYSIWYG editor.
