Configuration

To configure Community Builder Profile Pro, click on Options icon in profile types view.

A modal window with component parameters will appear. Each label shows parameter description on mouseover.

General parameters

• Multiple profile types. Multiple profile types functionality for Community Builder. If enabled, users will be able to have different profile types. If disabled, all users will be assigned to default profile type.
• Profile type defining field. The name of Community Builder field that stores information about user's profile type. Default CB field name is cb_profiletype.
• Selected CB template. This parameter refers to Community Builder template stylesheet loading rule. Let's imagine we have profile type Programmer with CB template OSX. If option Loaded on all profile types viewed by user of the current is selected, then OSX template will be loaded on all profile types for user with profile type Programmer. If Loaded on the current profile type only is selected, then OSX template will be loaded only on profiles of users with profile type Programmer, thus template will change on each profile type with different template selected.
• Profile type title. Whether to show the title of profile type on the top of profile in frontend.
• Developer's link. Whether to show the link to developer's website (www.joomduck.com) at the bottom of profile.
• If profile type not defined or empty. Action taken if profile type is not defined or is not filled with content: whether to show default Community Builder page or an error message.
• If registration page empty. Action taken if registration page of profile type is not filled with content. Whether to show default Community Builder registration page or registration page of default profile type.

Magic Window parameters

• Magic Window tabs. Whether tabs in Magic Window can be sorted in desired order.
• 'CB field' tab, 'CB tab' tab, 'Code' tab, 'Show/hide content' tab, 'Module/modal/tooltip' tab, 'Javascript tabs' tab, 'Pages' tab. Select whether each of these tabs will appear in Magic Window.

reCaptcha service keys

If you wish to use reCAPTCHA on Community Builder registation page, you need to specify public and private keys, which you will get after sign up at http://recaptcha.net/.
reCAPTCHA is a popular free anti-bot service that will help you to prevent automatic registrations on your site.

Permissions settings

Native Joomla! access control feature. Control which user groups will have access to which actions in the component. More information at http://docs.joomla.org/ACL_Tutorial_for_Joomla_1.6.
You can leave the default settings as they are safe enough.

Text filtering options

Text filtering feature in Community Builder Profile Pro is the same as in Articles component. It is a way to protect your website: you have control over the HTML that different user groups are allowed to submit. More information at http://docs.joomla.org/Help16:Content_Article_Manager#Filtering_Options_.28HTML.29.
You can leave the default settings as they are safe enough.

After you configure all the parameters, click on Save button.
